. Confirmation was given by the British brand that announced it will be unveiling the 650S at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

The new model will be called McLaren 650S and the name should refer to the 650hp output of the 3.8 V8 twin-turbo engine. Besides being based on the 12C, the 650S also receives a revamped design inspired by the P1McLaren P1United Kingdom, 2013 > present26 photos

Apparently the new McLaren 650S will be available in two different versions, one of them with a carbon kit give an even more distinctive look to the car. Then, towards the end of the year we should get to know the replacement of the 12C which will be strongly influenced by the 650s.

The 650s will have a limited production series. So far McLaren just unveiled a picture with the badge of the new model.
