The package costs €495 in addition to the cost of a standard A-Class. It adds a set of pedals on the passenger side, a switch that turns the extra pedals off when not in use, twin rearview mirrors, the light and sight package and the seat comfort package. Mercedes will start delivering the special cars in January. 

Mercedes Roadsense was designed for 8th graders to learn the beginning of driving safety in Germany. The program focuses on making young people good passengers and safe pedestrians, but they also get to drive a car on a closed course briefly at the end of the program.
