More Powerful Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Possibly Speeding to Geneva

Veyron might not make that many more Veyrons. It has made 300 since the car was introduced way back in 2005, but Bugatti thinks that it has one more special edition ups its sleeve. There are rumors that the Geneva Auto Show will have a version of the Veyron Grand Sport, which is the one with the targa top, with the 1200hp engine from the Super Sport. Which could make the car the fastest convertible ever made.  

Autoblog.nl reports that Bugatti had some unsold Veyron Grand Sports lying around and decided to sweeten them up with the more powerful engine. The rumor goes that Bugatti has already been shopping the car around to buyers in the US to drum up orders. 

We will wait and see at the Geneva Auto Show in March to see if there is an even faster, topless Veyron in attendance.
