on road trips. The concept behind the book was spearheaded by Citroën restorer Andrew Brodie and covers trips in cars covering a 20 year period.
Mel Nichols, a writer for Britain's What Car? Magazine wrote the foreward for the book and said: “Evocative writing and stirring photography go together like food and wine. Put a fine writer and an imaginative photographer together in an interesting car on an appealing journey and you’re going to get a captivating essay where words and images mesh perfectly... We can all, then, share in the magic as the adventure unfolds. This is a book filled with stories and photographs of the highest order, all celebrating important and fascinating cars.”
The book is published by Yellow Chevron Publishing and goes on sale on August 1. It is available from book shops in the UK for £39.50 but can be ordered direct from the publisher at www.brodie.cc. You can view 46 pages from the book here.
