is one of its most efficient petrol cars ever.
Despite the similar name, the two cars are quite different. The A180 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY uses a 1.5-liter diesel four-cylinder with 109hp and available only with a six-speed manual transmission. It emits 92g/km of CO2. It uses 3.6l/100km (65mpg)
The A180 BlueEFFICIENCY has a 1.6-liter petrol four-cylinder that only comes with a six-speed manual that produces 122hp. It emits 120g/km of CO2. It uses 5.2l/100km (45mpg).
The BlueEFFICIENCY package reduces the cars' drag coefficient to 0.26 and includes covering the upper portion of the radiator grill, covers over the spring links and a lowered suspension. The manual transmission has lower gear ratios. The cars also have round LED running lights in the bumper.
Orders will open for both cars on February 1, and deliveries will begin on March 2013.
