Next Opel Astra OPC Coming to Geneva Motor Show

Opel is launching the most powerful road-going Astra OPC ever at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6. It uses a direct-injected, turbocharged 2.0 liter engine with 280hp and 400Nm of torque with a top speed of 250km/h.

The car will come with 18-way adjustable, performance bucket seats exclusive to the Astra OPC that Opel claims save weight but also are certified by the German AGR organization, a group that certifies that seats and chairs have high ergonomic standards. Opel claims that the performance seats are 45% lighter than a standard automotive seat. The seating position in the OPC will be 17mm lower than in the Astra GTC and 40mm lower than the standard Astra.
