with radical new styling, at least for a Skoda. Skoda Chief Designer Jozef Kaban is working on the car, and it will debut the brand's new design style since its VisionD design style.

Kaban's design sense is to remove anything unnecessary from the design. He said the next Superb will not have visible exhaust pipes, except for the vRS model. The brand should "remain focused on space and value for money, rather than pretending to be performance cars.”

"[When the] Superb comes then I think you will really have a few things to write about. It has to appeal to families, to the rich in money and also the rich in other things, but has to be classless. And you'll see it soon," said Kaban.

in early 2014 and the new Superb somewhat later. Even farther in the future, Skoda wants to have an SUV offered in five and seven seat versions that will sit above the Yeti, and it would be meant to appeal to China and Russia.

Skoda's goal is to sell 1.5 million cars annually by 2018. In the first six months of the year, Skoda has sold 464,600, up 5.8% from the previous year.
