Nissan Juke Nismo Concept Boosts Power in Little SUV

It looks like the Juke-R is not the only powered up Juke that Nissan's been working on. Nissan's motorsport arm, Nismo, has also tuned a Juke, but it did so much more realistically.

The Juke Nismo Concept wears more agressive body work that widens and lowers the Juke. It is painted in Nismo's signature pearl white and red paint job. Nissan really focused on aerodynamics for the Nismo Juke. The rear spoiler is redesigned to control airflow better. It wears 19in wheels, and the suspension has been lowered. Nismo also tuned the 1.6 liter turbo engine to produce more power.

The steering wheel, pedals, gauges, shifter knob and many of the trim pieces have been switched out for Nismo parts.

"The global sales success of the Nissan Juke has proved beyond doubt that customers are looking for something different. The Juke Nismo Concept takes that idea to the next level. It's energetic, distinctive and highly desirable", said Andy Palmer, Executive Vice President of Nismo.

The Juke Nismo Concept will be on display at the Tokyo Auto Show.

No error appears. It usually gives me the option to ADD PHOTOS but now it tells me now it says to copy links to the picture when I would use my folder. Don't worry, I'll find out soon enough...
