marketing says that Infiniti and Red Bull will collaborate on engineering and technology.
“A lot of the trickle down from the partnership is going to be people, not parts. This is an idea exchange as much as a technology transfer. Red Bull Racing can help push Infiniti and Nissan to work faster," said Infiniti marketing manger Andreas Sigl.
Sigl says that Nissan and Red Bull will be sharing engineers in the next few weeks. Nissan engineers will join Red Bull, and Red Bull engineers will go to Nissan. The two groups will be working on joint projects with one another. It is possible that one day this could germinate into a Red Bull-developed car for Infiniti or Nissan.
