Nissan Provides 5 Leafs to Swiss Charities

The Leafs are provided for one year to the World Food Programme and International Red Cross

has donated five Leafs to the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Food Programme in Switzerland. The organizations will keep them for six months, then they will be donated to other charitable organizations.

is meant to promote zero-emissions vehicles, and Nissan wants the vehicles to be visible to the public. 

"The Nissan LEAF testing program comes right on time as the International Committee of the Red Cross is looking how it can utilize vehicles with the lowest level of emissions." said Dario Moro, Vehicle Fleet Manager at the International Committee of the Red Cross.
