which Nissan calls “the ultimate mobile sound system.” The system was technically built by Martin Audio. It made its public debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Jukebox is made of a 19kW sound system located in the rear of the Juke. It can crank out of to 150db of sound, which is as much as a jet taking off. It is made of 2 subwoofers and enclosures of mid- and high-speakers. The system includes a PA system, DJ booth and lighting system. It also has a radio studio in the car so that what is played on the system can be broadcast through the Ministry of Sound's radio app.
The Ministry of Sound features “The Box,” a room surrounded on five sides by speakers and tuned to be acoustically perfect. The Jukebox was inspired by this room and was built by the same people who constructed "The Box" – Martin Audio.
"We have made a great product that we believe creates excitement through our innovative approach to the small car market; Ministry of Sound is the industry leader in creating the moments people live for through their bespoke sound systems. Together with Nissan Design Europe, RML and Ministry of Sound we wanted to challenge the establishment and make something truly unique,” said Gareth Dunsmore, Marketing Communications Nissan in Europe .
To promote the car, Nissan will take it on a summer-long tour across Europe, and every other Monday starting June 18 from 5pm to 7pm, it will broadcast to the Ministry of Sound's app.
