production for the winter, it is planning a compact crossover version of the Adam, according to an Opel insider. It will be inspired by the Adam Rocks concept from the Geneva Motor Show in March.

rode on the same platform as the standard Adam but with a new front bumper and grill design, 40mm (1.5in) widened fenders and a 50mm (2in) higher ride height. It could share the engines already available in the car. An all-wheel drive option is very unlikely. The production version will likely not have a canvas roof from the concept.

Because it is so closely tied to the standard Adam, the production version of the Rocks can go into production quickly. It will likely be on sale before the end of 2014. Using the same components and production line keeps costs down.
