van for better efficiency by adding start/stop to its engines. It also has other upgrades ready for the van.

The 2.3 CDTI 100hp and 125hp panel vans with manual transmissions now come with start/stop. It improves economy and emission by 8% over the previous model. The most efficient version now uses 6.7l/100km and 176g/km of CO2.

The trucks also get a 15% improvement in towing capacity from 3 tons to 3.5 tons on rear-wheel drive and dual-rear wheel models.

Finally, Opel is adding a pneumatic suspension option on front-wheel drive versions. It lets the driver raise the van by 7cm above its normal ride height and lower it 20cm. The function is meant to make loading it easier.

"Cost of ownership and the environment are key factors for fleet customers. That’s why we are constantly improving the Movano offer so that we can better meet our customer needs,” said Duncan Alred, Opel's head of sales and marketing.
