Passat CC Gets Revised Exterior and New Options in Europe

The Volkswagen Passat CC has been around now for four years as a four-door coupe. At the time, the only other car in this niche was the Mercedes CLS, but today it is full of competitors. Volkswagen has sold nearly 270,000 CCs since its introduction.

For 2012, Volkswagen has updated the Passat CC with a revised front and rear, and it is now available with optional bi-xenon headlights, cornering lights, LED tail lights and an upgraded touchscreen radio. It also has optional Lane Assist and Dynamic Light Assist that dims the high beams automatically when necessary. All of the diesel engines now come with stop/start as standard.

Volkswagen will debut the new CC at the LA Auto Show on November 16. It will debut in Germany in February 2012 and roll out everywhere else through 2013.

Great move by VW. I really like how the Passat model has evolved through the years.
