is bringing a rare 1100 OHC to the Silvretta Classic from July 5 to July 8.
The Skoda 1100 OHC was built in 1956 and 1957 and just four were ever built- two convertibles and two coupes. Skoda is bringing one of the convertibles to Austria. The car raced locally in the Czech Republic in 1958 racking up several wins. It weighs 550kg and is powered by a 1.1 liter, four-cylinder engine with 92ps and a top speed of 200km/h.
“We are very excited that the 1100 OHC participates in the Silvretta Classic. The Silvretta Classic attracts thousands of classic car fans. They can look forward to an extremely rare ŠKODA specimen that also represents 111 years of success of the ŠKODA brand in motor sports,” said Eva Ticová, the head of the classic car shop of the Skoda Auto Museum.
There are 167 classic vehicles entered into the rally this year from the 1930s to the 80s. The rally runs through the Austrian Montafon Valley in the Alps.
