Red Bull one-two in Turkey with third win for Vettel

After last year team crash-out, Red Bull has comeback to Turkey and did best then everyone else on the track to take first and second places. Vettel took his third win of the season and continues his path to revalidate his world champion title. Mark Webber got his best result of the season after overtaking Alonso in the last laps of the race.

Vettel dominated the action from the start of the race and in the end his better strategy drove him comfortably ahead of everyone, only having to manage his advantage until the end.

Mark Webber once again pulled some last instant performance to overtake Spaniard Fernando Alonso, who got his team the first podium finish of the season. Ferrari showed a much better race performance that the one from qualifying.

The McLarens and Rosberg were left fighting for the remainign top six positions, which showed the driving skills of the three drivers. In the end Hamilton came through in fourth with Rosberg finishing fifth ahead of Button.

From the start of the race Vettel got away of the pack with a strong start, with the fight between Webber, Rosberg and Hamilton giving him the opportunitiy to pull away. Rosberg got ahead of Webber at the start but after five laps the Aussie had already recovered that position. As for Hamilton, the Brit tried to pass Webber but ran wide and fell to sixth behind Alonso and Button at Turn 3.

At some point of the race it seemed as if Vettel was going to run a three-stop race, as he was able to run much further on his tyres than his nearest rivals. In the end, in what seemed a safe measure to secure victory he came into the pits to maintain his 8 second advantage over his team-mate.

Another driver on a tree-stop strategy was Toro Rosso's Sebastien Buemi, who climbed from 16th to seventh. Still in the last instants of the race it became difficult to hold his position against those who had made four-stops and ended up falling to ninth place behind the Renaults of Nick Heidfeld and Vitaly Petrov.

After technical problems took his chance to drive in qualifying Kamui Kobayashi made a terrific jump in the standings coming from 23rd up to 10th to secure the last ponctuable place., ahead of Felipe Massa who failed to score for Ferrari. The Brazilian lost ground when he ran very wide at Turn 8 after his third stop. He was caught in the middel of a crowd of yet-to-stop midfielders and lost even further ground in his third stop with a right rear wheel.

Williams continued its poor start of the 2011 season. In the last laps of the race it seemed as if the team was going to conquer its first points with Barrichello lying in 10th, but the Brazilian driver ended up falling down to 15th place.

Vettel is really impressing me this season. I didn't think he could dominate like this. That guy is making everything perfect and stepping an inch further than his opponents in each race. Good job!

I really though he wasn't going to win this time. C'mon Mclaren, show your colours!
