Renault and Nissan Planning Joint Factory in India

Renault has recently launched a series of models in India

and are planning to open a joint factory in India.

The factory, which will be located near its current factory in Chennai, will cost $320 million (€242.8 million) and will build Nissan's new DatsunDatsunDatsunJapan, 1931 > 198636 models

cars and inexpensive Renault models. According to the newspaper, the factory is aimed to be completed by the second half of 2014 and be able to build 200,000 vehicles a year.
