forum claims to have the pricing and specs for the 918 Spyder. He says that he is getting the information from a printed brochure.
The standard 918 will start at €768,026, and the Weissach Package will bring the price up to €839,426.
The Weissach Package lowers the weight by 35kg and drops the Nürburgring Nordschleife time by two seconds. In a very curious weight-savings move, the Weissach cars will be covered in foil instead of using weight to save 2.5kg. They will use magnesium wheels to save 13.5kg. The seats will be made from fire-resistant cloth instead of leather and have 6-point harnesses. Inside, they will have carbon fiber paddle shifters and carbon fiber trim and special doors with no armrests, door pockets or interior door handles. They will also have no glove compartment or storage compartment in the center console. There will also be no carpeting in either the passenger compartment or the trunk. The Weissach Package will also get rid of the stereo and air conditioning.
If you do not want the full Weissach Package but want some of the upgrades, you can buy them individually:
Component | Price |
Foil Paint | €11,900 |
Liquid Metal Paint | €47,600 |
Liquid Metal Paint and Foil | €59,500 |
Magnesium Wheels | €29,750 |
Lift System | €8,925 |
External Quick Charger | €20,230 |
German Leather | €23,800 |
Interior Carbon Fiber Package | €6,545 |
Electric Heater (for when V8 is not running) | €5,950 |
6-Point Harnesses | €2,975 |
5-Piece Luggage Set | €17,731 |
Pick-up in Zuffenhausen | Free |
Pick-up in Leipzig | €6,545 |
Although not explicitly stated, it appears that the extra cost to pick the car up in Leipzig would allow the buyer to visit Porsche's driving school there.
Take this with a big grain of salt until it is confirmed. Unfortunately, Porsche will not confirm these specs. The last time information about the 918 leaked, it was a brochure, and Porsche said that data was a mix of true and false. The same could be true here.
