Mark Webber was the fastest in Saturday's qualifying session for the Monaco GP. The Aussie driver outlasted the whole field and continued Red Bull's supremacy in qualifying. Robert Kubica was the surprise of the session as he will start tomorrow's race in the first row. Webber's team-mate Sebastian Vettel had do settle for third place.
In Q3 Kubica seemed to be going for an underdog surprise pole positionas he took first position with a staggering advantage of 1.1s over the rest of the field. The Pole would keep improving his time but then Webber took the lead with a lap time of 1m14.104s. Kubica responded with a lap just 0.016 seconds away from the Red Bull driver. The time would grant him second position for tomorrow's grid.
