Skoda Fabia Will Not Get vRS Version Next Generation

debuts next year there will not be a vRS performance version.

"The truth is people love the vRS, but they don’t buy it – compared to the price of a normal Fabia it’s too much," he said.

However, Dr. Welsch did not completely rule out the Fabia vRS ever returning, but it will not be part of the initial models.

"Of course if there is very strong demand in some markets we will be quick to make it happen, as engineers we love to build cars like this," he said.

The Fabia will share its platform with the next generation Polo and Ibiza that are also due next year on a version of Volkswagen’sVolkswagenVolkswagenGermany, 1938 > present98 models
