Suzuki to Unveil New Swift Sport in Frankfurt

The orginal Suzuki Swift Sport debuted in 2006 and will be getting a refresh next year. The new Swift Sport will be shown off to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The new Swift Sport's most significant update comes from its more aggressive front end. The headlights flow farther back over the fenders than in the previous generation.

The new Swift Sport will also receive a revised engine. The 1.6 liter four-cylinder now makes 134hp, a 9hp boost, and torque is up to 118ft-lbs, an improvement of 9ft-lbs. 

Suzuki did not mention if there would be any change in price for the new Swift Sport but more information should be available coming from Frankfurt.
