about this car
In 2011, to celebrate 150 years of Italian unification, Lotus gave the Italian military police, the Carabinieri, two modified Evora S models. One car would be used in Rome, and the other in Milan.
The two Evoras had been outfitted with voice recognition technology and refrigerated compartments. Lotus’ intention was that the cars were to be used as high-speed transports for blood or internal organs during medical emergencies.

This is the same approach as Lamborghini with the Gallardo given to the Italian Polizia. A bit cheap marketing, re-using others ideas. And I love Lotus...

Very nice of Lotus, even if they recycled the Lamborghini commercial stunt. With the number of different Polices that exist in Italy, some other constructor may jump at it ;-)
