The Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 is the replacement model of the Gallardo and while it shares the 5.2-liter V10 from the Gallardo, power has seen a significant boost over its predecessor.
Huracan means hurricane in Spanish and it is also the name of a fighting bull of the Spanish Conte de la Patilla breed that was famous in the late 19th century. The design is certainly similar to the Gallardo, but all of the lines seem to have been simplified. If such a thing is possible, this is the understated Lamborghini.
The chassis is brand new and is made from a combination of carbon fiber and aluminum with a dry weight of 1,422kg (3,135lb).
The 5.2-liter V10 has been upgraded to produce 601hp (610ps) at 8,250rpm and 413lb-ft (560Nm), which is enough to propel the car to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 325km/h.
