, the brand now launches Huracán GT3Lamborghini Hurácan GT3Italy, 2015 > present that will compete this season in the Blancpain Endurance Series in Europe.
Unlike other Lamborghini racing cars which involved the development made by external companies, like Reiter Engineering with the Gallardo GT3Lamborghini Gallardo GT3Italy, 2013 > 2000, this time Huracán GT3 was developed mainly in-house. However Lamborghini had the help of Dallara in terms of aerodynamics.
The GT3 version is, unlike the production version, a rear-wheel drive car but keeps the same engine V10 5.2-liter. The Huracán GT3 is coupled with a sequential six-speed gearbox.
Thanks to the modifications to make the HuracánLamborghini Huracan LP 610-4Italy, 2014 > present a racing car, Lamborghini managed to reduce the model weight from 1422kg to 1239kg. However there may still be some changes in this value in FIA's homologation.
In the Blancpain Endurance Series, the official Lamborghini Huracán GT3 will race with a green lime color, but for those who want to compete with the one of these cars, the price is tagged at 369,000 euros.
