The Jaguar XF (X250) is a mid-size luxury car first presented in 2007. The model replaced the Jaguar S-Type and went on sale in 2008 offering customers a choice of V6 and V8 engines. In 2011 a face-lifted XF was presented.
The XF still relies on the basic sub-structure of the S-Type but has a higher and more stretched body. It shares the suspension and mountings with the Jaguar XK. The XF is available with a 3.0 V6 diesel AJ-V6D Gen III engine, a 5.0L V8 AJ133 GEN III engine and a supercharged version of the V8 engined is mounted in the XFR sports model. The XK is available in different trims, varying by country, such as: Luxury, Premium Luxury (Premium), Portfolio (Premium Portfolio), SV8 (Supercharged) and XFR. In the UK a Executive Edition in available since 2011.
Jaguar is giving the XF and XJ several significant upgrades for 2013 including a new turbocharged four-cylinder and supercharged V6.
The turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces 240ps and 340Nm of torque while using 8.9l/100km of petrol and producing 207g/km of CO2 in the XF.
The supercharged V6 produces 340ps and 450Nm of torque. Fuel economy and emissions are for the XF at 9.4l/100km and 224g/km of CO2.
The previous engine lineup of the 5.0 liter petrol V8 in supercharged and naturally aspirated forms, 2.2 liter diesel and 3.0 liter diesel will all be carried over unchanged into the 2013 model year. The only difference is that all V6 and V8 engines get stop/start and the eight-speed automatic.
