The design of the production NX was strongly influenced by the two LF-NXLexus LF-NXJapan, 2013 > 2013 concept vehicles shown at 2013's Frankfurt and Tokyo Motor Shows. Comparing with both concepts the final design has been simplified, however it still looks bold, with angular lines, fleeing from the conservative looks of other models in the class.
