In production since 2000 the Lotus Exige is a two-seat sports car made by British manufacturer Lotus Cars. Basically the model is a coupé version of the mid-engined roadster Lotus Elise.

The original Exige was powered by a 1.8 L Rover K Series engine in VHPD (Very High Performance Derivative) tune, producing 179 PS in standard form and 195 PS in the "track spec" version.

A second series of the Exige was launched in 2004, with the two-seat sports featuring a 1.8 L 16-valve DOHC Toyota/Yamaha engine that produced 193 PS.
