A sixth version of the Mitsubishi Lancer was released in 1995. The car was still being sold under the ‘Mitsubishi Mirage’ nameplate in several car markets, including the North American. In Japan, the sedan and wagon body versions were called Libero, whilst the coupe was the Mirage Asti.
The 6th Lancer kept its turbocharged GSR variant, which was sold alongside the other options. This generation Lancers were produced until 2000. more
