Cadillac ATS Confirmed with 2.0 Turbo ahead of NAIAS Reveal

While the Cadillac ATS will not be fully revealed until the North American International Auto Show in early January, Cadillac has just detailed the engines that its compact sedan will receive. The ATS will come with either a 2.5l four cylinder, 2.0l turbocharged four cylinder or 3.6l V6. 

The turbocharged engine that will be found in the ATS produces 270hp and is already found in the Buick Regal GS. The engine is quite technologically advanced with direct injection, a twin-scroll turbocharger and air-to-air intercooler. 

The 3.6l V6 could be either the 300hp version found in the Chevrolet Impala, the 318hp version in the Cadillac CTS or the 323hp version in the Camaro. Cadillac has not announced which the ATS will get yet. 

Cadillac will have more information about the ATS at its debut at the NAIAS in a few weeks time.
