Ferrari's reveal of its new GT has been spoiled. Autoblog received an image of the 599 successor, and a user of GTSpirit.com spotted the car as well.
We were pretty sure that the car would get the V12 from the Ferrari FF. Reportedly, the 6.3 liter V12 has been tuned up to 740hp, up from 651hp in the FF, and 690lb-ft of torque, compared to 504lb-ft in the FF. The redline is raised to 8,700rpm, a 700rpm boost over the FF. That is a major power bump from the same engine if this information proves to be true.
Performance to 60mph is reported at 3.1 seconds and to 100mph in 8.3 seconds.
Ferrari will officially reveal the new car on Wednesday, February 29.
