Corvette Racing will be racing in this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans with an updated Corvette C6.R, based on the Corvette ZR1 supercar. The car has strong links to the production version of America's performance icon as the GT rules require the use of many production-based components, expanding the opportunities for the two-way transfer of technology between the race track and the showroom. The Corvette C6.R utilizes the ZR1's body design, aerodynamic package, aluminum frame and chassis structure, steering system, windshield, and other components. The car is powered by an updated 5.5-liter Chevrolet small-block V-8 specified by the GT regulations.

The team will be entering two cars that receive numbers 73 and 74. In #73 Antonio Garcia, Jan Magnussen and Jordan Taylor will take the commands of the C6.R, while in #74 the steering wheel will belong to Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner and Richard Westbrook.

The top model of Porsche Motorsport's customer racing vehicles is heading to this year's Le Mans with extensive modifications. Particularly striking at first glance are the changes to the body with the width of the 911 RSR growing by 48 millimetres. The car was built to conform to the ACO "LM" GTE regulations and is powered by an efficient six-cylinder boxer engine with a four-litre capacity, with a mandatory air-restrictor and generating 460hp.

The Porsche 911 RSR will be racing in Le Mans with Team Felbermayr-Proton in car #77 and Team Flying Lizards in #80. Porsche works drivers Richard Lietz, Marc Lieb and Wolf Henzler will drive for Team Felbermayr-Proton, while Jörg Bergmeister, Patrick Long and Marco Holzer will drive for Team Flying Lizards.

In this year's Le Mans 24 Hours Aston Martin will be racing one Vantage GTE in the GTE PRO category. While based on the Vantage GT2, the GTE has had nearly every piece of the car further developed. Like the GT2, it uses a modified Aston Martin 4.5 liter V8 with aluminum cylinder block and head. The engine uses a dry sump oil system as well. The transmission is a semi-automatic, rear-mounted six speed. It uses the same aluminum chassis as the road-legal Vantage, but the body panels are carbon fiber.

The Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTE will carry #97 and will be driven by Stefan Mücke, Darren Turner and Adrian Fernandez.
