Nissan Partners with Elle Magazine to Create Micra for Ladies

The Micra Elle is based on the midrange Accenta model and includes automatic air conditioning, Intelligent Key, heated, folding mirrors, fog lamps and spoiler. The special edition will be available in Ocean Blue and Dark Red. The interior gets new fabric. Navigation is optionally available. The car gets Elle badges on the tailgate, front fenders, floor mats and front door guards.

Power comes with either a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engine with 80ps or a supercharged and direct injected 1.2-liter with 98ps.

The special edition goes on sale in the fall and will be on display at the Paris Motor Show at the end of September. Buyers will be able to take part in special events sponsored by Nissan and Elle.

The partnership come from 65% of Micra buyers begin women. Nissan thought it was natural to partner with a fashion magazine to exploit this established affinity.
