most rare cars. At the Goodwood Revival, it will auction a custom 1:1 scale model Aston Martin DBR1Aston Martin DBR1United Kingdom, 1959 > 195913 photos
for display.
The scale model that Evanta built is based on its composite DBR1 body and will be auctioned by Bonhams. The auction estimate is £25,000 ($39,150).
The kit includes four knock-off wire wheels with Dunlop tires, a 15in wood steering wheel, two racing seats with leather headrests, full dashboard with Smiths gauges, a replica Le Mans trophy, an Aston Martin hat signed by Aston Martin Le Mans drivers Roy Salvardori and Carroll Shelby.

, DBR1 and DB4 Barchetta. Each car is built bespoke for the buyer. The DB4 Zagato and DBR1 are available in aluminum, fiberglass or Kevlar, but DB4 Barchetta uses a Kevlar body. The engine is also up to the buyer.
For the DB4 Zagato, which is the company's most popular car, Evanta can do the conversion starting from a DB7 or do it from scratch with whatever engine the buyer wants. Only 19 original cars were made.
The DBR1 has a tubular space frame with a composite body. The engine and gearbox can be specified by the buyer, but the straight six from the 1967 to 1972 DBSAston Martin DBSUnited Kingdom, 1967 > 19723 photos
is the easiest to fit. That gives the car 283hp. Five original cars were built.
The Barchetta is currently a one-off car that Evanta is building for a customer, but when it is finished, it will add the car to the models it offers. Evanta predicts that the car will be done at the end of the year. The customer has specified a 3.4-liter straight-six engine from an XK120Jaguar XK 120 RoadsterUnited Kingdom, 1948 > 195414 photos
with three Weber carbs. The rear is being shaped from foam.
Only one DB4 Barchetta was ever built, but it was not completed until 2001. Extra DB4 Zagato bodies were found in the late 80s. Four new cars were built in 1991 and three more came in 2001. One of those cars was the Barchetta.
