The Q7 e-tron 2.0 TFSI quattro combines the widely-used turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder direct-injection petrol engine, with 252hp and 370Nm of torque, with a 94kW and 350Nm electric motor mounted within the housing of the SUV's standard eight-speed automatic gearbox. Together the two engines provide a combined output of 367hp and 700Nm of torque.
Thanks to this four-wheel drive system, the Q7 e-tron 2.0 TFSI quattro can accelerate from a standing position to 100km/h in 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 220km/h. According to China's measuring procedures, the new hybrid Q7 has a combined consumption of 2.5l/100km, with 60g/km of CO2 emissions.
The 17.3kWh lithium ion battery mounted underneath the luggage compartment has enough power to supply 53km of driving on electricity alone. The total hybrid range is 1,020 kilometers.
Equipped with phase charging technology, the battery of Audi's new petrol-electric hybrid 7.2kW can be recharged in 2.5 hours.
