In terms of design the new S3 CabrioletAudi S3 CabrioletGermany, 2014 > present gets a new grille with gray finish that immediately sets it apart from the normal version of the A3 Cabriolet. Moreover, the new performance car from Audi gets a deeper bumper, a chrome framed windshield and mirror covers with an aluminium-look. The S3 Cabriolet will be further equipped with 18-inch wheels, with 19-inch wheels available as optional.

Inside it gets Nappa and fabric upholstered sports seats and brushed aluminum trim.

The new S3 Cabriolet will be equipped with the same 2.0-liter turbo petrol four-cylinder engine as the other S3 version, S3 hatchbackAudi S3 2.0 TFSI S tronicGermany, 2012 > present28 photos

The engine produces 300hp and 380Nm of torque and allows the S3 Cabriolet to reach 100km/h in 5.4 seconds and a limited top speed of 250km/h. According to information revealed by Audi the cabriolet version of the S3 will have an average fuel consumption of 7.1l/100km with CO2 emissions of 165g/km.

The traction of the new variant S3 is transmitted through a six-speed automatic transmission with double clutch and through a system of electromechanical multi-plate all-wheel drive.

In addition to the performance improvements the S3 Cabriolet also received a reworked chassis. In addition to a reduced ground clearance of 25 mm, the vehicle receives firmer springs and dampers and sway bars of larger diameter.

Deliveries of the first units of the S3 Cabriolet start in Germany in the summer
