designer Simone Resta says that Felipe Massa would be an asset to other F1 teams because he is such a team player. Massa is leaving the team at the end of the season and will be replaced by Kimi Raikkonen. Massa has made it clear his first goal is to remain in Formula 1 next season.

"Felipe has been a great team player. You can consider his effort on the simulator side, his support in developing items through the weekend, testing things. And when the team asks him, he has always been very good and open in supporting his team-mate on several occasions for several reasons," said Resta.

Massa reportedly has financial supporters and is negotiating with teams to remain in the sport for 2014.

In his career, Massa has won 11 races with Ferrari. He finished second in the world championship in 2008 and third in the championship in 2006.
