, car number 500, has been produced and left the factory on December 14. Production began in December 2010 meaning that it took roughly two years to build the 500 cars, which is less than a car a day. The Nürburgring Package cars that lowered weight began production in January 2012.

Lexus says that the final car is going through pre-delivery testing now and will be delivered to its owner soon. It would not say where the car was sold.

Lexus says that it plans on using the carbon fiber technology that it developed for the LFA in future models.

Below is the video that Lexus produced showing the LFA take the production car lap record at the Nürburgring. It did a 7:14.64 lap time, which held the production car record at the time.
