Pagani will be presenting at the Geneva Motor Show a special edition of the Zonda. The first pictures of the Zonda Tricolore, probably a one-off version, have been released on Pagani’s website.
According to Evo.co.uk website, the Zonda Tricolore is based on the Zonda Conque coupe, and was produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of “Frecce Tricolori”, an Italian aerobatic display team. The Tricoore uses the same special carbonfibre weaved with titanium wire for the construction of its tub.
The differences between the two models are in the non-existing air-intake snorkel, substituted by a small, vertical fin on top of the engine cover that links the vehicle with the jet used by the Frecce Tricolori team.
With the Tricolore being presented in a world premiere at Geneva Motor Show, starting next week, Pagani should also confirm it as a one-off model. The price of the vehicle should be around 1.3 million Euros.
