High-performance Focus ST to premiere in Paris

Ford Motor Company will be presenting at the Paris Motor Show the first preview of the high performance Focus ST. Ford has already unveiled the first pictures of what will become the first high-performance model developed under the brand’s global Performance Vehicles strategy. The Focus ST should reach the markets in early 2012.

At this years’ Geneva Motor Show Ford Motor Company's group vice president for Global Product Development, Derrick Kuzak had aready promised that the new performance version of the next generation Ford Focus was being developed.

The Focus ST will be featuring at the Paris Motor Show a unique 250 PS version of the new 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Ford EcoBoost engine. Keeping true to Ford's ST heritage, the new top of the range Focus is expected to offer extreme performance and handling, together with a characteristic sound.

In Paris the Focus ST will be easily spotted thanks to its highly distinctive sports exterior, which is finished in 'Tangerine Scream', a dramatic new body colour, a reflection of the ST’s character.
