as of June 4, 2012. De Nysschen stepped down from Audi last week after working there for 19 years. He will take over the job at Infiniti on July 1 at Infiniti's new global headquarters in Hong Kong.
"We have exciting and ambitious plans for improving the Infiniti brand including introducing new models in all markets where premium customer demand exists. Johan is a highly successful global luxury automotive executive and his leadership of Infiniti will be a key factor in realizing the potential of the Infiniti brand," said Andy Palmer, NissanNissanJapan, 1932 > present159 models

executive vice president in charge of produce planning.
De Nysschen's job at Infiniti will be to increase global sales to 500,000 units a year, compared from 150,000 in 2011. That would give Infiniti a 10% market share of the global luxury car market.
He will also have to increase the number of global dealers. In the US, Infiniti already has a large number of dealers, but it is still growing in Europe and China.
De Nysschen had been head of Audi of America for the last seven years. In his years as head of Audi of America, he increased Audi's share of the luxury market from 5.3% to 10% in the US. It sold about 1.5 million cars worldwide last year.
