now offers JCW versions of every car in its range.

The JCW Countryman that will go on sale this fall is powered by a 218hp, 1.6l engine with a twin-scroll turbo and 207lb-ft of torque (221lb-ft with overboost). It comes with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic and is also the first JCW model to have all-wheel drive. The Mini crossover sprints to 100km/h in 7.0 seconds. The top speed is 225km/h (140mph), and it uses 7.4l/100km with the manual and 7.9l/100km with the automatic.

, Coupe and Roadster. It is basically a tuned version of the turbocharged, 1.6l engine in the Cooper S. It adds an aluminum engine block and mounts, reinforced pistons, a more powerful cylinder head and low-weight crankshaft. The turbocharger also develops more boost, and the exhaust has better flow.

To improve efficiency, the JCW engines are fitted with brake regeneration and stop/start tech. Mini claims that these technologies cut fuel economy by 0.5l/100km and do not harm performance.

Thanks to the similar engines and chassis, all of the JCW Minis have quick performance. The quickest car in the lineup is the JCW Coupe that gets to 100km/h in 6.4 seconds. The Roadster and Cooper JCW versions get to 100km/h in 6.5 seconds. The Clubman takes 6.8 seconds, and the Cooper Convertible takes 6.9 seconds.

All of the JCW cars come with a Sport mode that increases accelerator response and tightens the steering. They also all have an electronic limit-slip differential.

On the outside, the JCWs wear exclusive colors and wheels, and they come standard with sport seats with 'John Cooper Works' embroidered on them.
