"This is a big and ambitious project with new technology, exacting standards and tight timelines," said Brian Krinock, president manufacturing at Toyota Canada.
The Cambridge factory is the only factory in the world outside of Japan that produces Lexus models. The factory already builds 65,00 RX SUVs a year and employs 6,500 people.
