Lotus Adds New Sports Racer to Evora

is getting desperate to increase sales. Its latest attempt is called the Evora Sports Racer, and it adds extra standard equipment for a lower price. 

The Sports Racer is available in an exclusive color called Ardent Red that is almost orange. It also has a gloss black roof, front splitter, rear diffuser, side sills, rear badges, mirror covers, and forged wheels. Buyers get a choice of red or black brake calipers. 

Inside, all of the cars come as 2+2s with either black leather seats with red contrasts or red leather with black contrasts. The dashboard, door trim and console are made from slate grey faux-suede with red stitching. 

The cars come standard with the Sports Pack, which adds cross-drilled brake discs, diffuser and sport mode, the Tech Pack, which adds a better stereo system, DVD player, 7in touch screen, Bluetooth, USB connection, tire pressure monitor, cruise control and rear parking sensors, electric folding mirrors and reverse camera.

. The Sports Racer package saves buyers £6,450 for the same equipment on an Evora or saves £7,150 on the Evora S. 

The Sports Racer package will only be available on cars sold in the UK and Europe.
