, the chassis of the G500 4x4² receives many components from the G63 AMG 6x6, but with several changes into the body level. The new Mercedes engine featuring on the G500 4x4² has been coupled with a modified version of the seven-speed 7G-tronic automatic transmission.
One of the major differences between the two vehicles are the double strut springs and damper units that allow damping control system to function in two different modes, "comfort" and "sport". The biggest chassis difference involves the geometry of the axes.
Compared with the G500, the new 4x4² tracks are substantially wider, more 299mm in the front and rear, for a total of 1774mm. The size of the rims also grew from 18 inches to 22 with 325/55 tires.
Mercedes has revealed no official data on the performance of the G500 4x4².
