. Although it is still a concept, the brand reveals that the design of the production version will be very similar to the vehicle that will be unveiled.
The new Clubman will leave behind the quirky design of the single rear side door of the first generation model. It will become a five-door vehicle and will keep the two-door trunk. The new model was developed to introduce additional levels of functionality and versatility, in order to become a more serious competitor in its segment.
In terms of dimensions, with 4223mm long the ClubmanMINI (BMW) ClubmanGermany, 2014 > 2014 concept is 260mm longer, compared to the previous generation. Furthermore, the vehicle is also wider and taller than before, with 1844mm wide and 1450mm tall. With these dimensions the Clubman becomes the largest model in the MINI range, a spot prevously owned by the CountrymanMINI (BMW) Countryman Gen.1 [R60]Germany, 2010 > present54 versions

Design details added to the concept include daytime running lights that form a continuous ring around the headlights , which MINI calls "air curtains". Moreover 19in rims and tires, mirrors mounted on chrome arms and rear lights with a slope that aims to give greater emphasis to the horizontal rear of the vehicle were introduced.
Inside the Clubman concept is an indicator of how the future MINIs will be equipped. The vehicle receives a simple and sophisticated panel apart from high quality materials, including leather, various wood accents and chrome buttons. However, the production versions will be less luxurious.
The centerpiece continues to be the circular panel that receives a high-resolution screen. As with the new MINI hatchback, the main instruments were placed behind the wheel. The center console between the front seats is higher and puts the gear lever and commands higher up than the existing MINI models.
The new generation of the Clubman should receive the same range of engines announced for the three-door hatchback version.
