since it was revealed at the New York Auto Show a few weeks ago. Now it is beginning a similar teaser campaign for the next generation Sentra.

The Sentra is getting pretty long in the tooth in the US. The most recent generationSentra Gen.6 [B16]Nissan Sentra Gen.6 [B16]Japan, 2007 > present18 versions

was introduced in 2007, but it was never a class leader.

The video actually shows a lot of the car. You can see a brief glimpse of the front, side and rear. It looks like a smaller clone of the Altima that it just launched, which is not a bad thing at all.

The trajectory of the Sentra is actually sad. It started in 1982 as a poor Honda Civic competitor. However, by the third generation, it was quite a competent compact car. The SE-R version is still well-loved, and often compared to a modern interpretation of the the classic Datsun 510. The fourth generation was similar to the third and still a competent car, but the fifthSentra Gen.5Nissan Sentra Gen.5Japan, 2000 > 20068 versions
