since it was revealed at the New York Auto Show a few weeks ago. Now it is beginning a similar teaser campaign for the next generation Sentra.

was introduced in 2007, but it was never a class leader.
The video actually shows a lot of the car. You can see a brief glimpse of the front, side and rear. It looks like a smaller clone of the Altima that it just launched, which is not a bad thing at all.
The trajectory of the Sentra is actually sad. It started in 1982 as a poor Honda Civic competitor. However, by the third generation, it was quite a competent compact car. The SE-R version is still well-loved, and often compared to a modern interpretation of the the classic Datsun 510. The fourth generation was similar to the third and still a competent car, but the fifthNissan Sentra Gen.5Japan, 2000 > 20068 versions

and sixth generations have been disappointing. Hopefully, Nissan can bring the Sentra back to the fun-to-drive, inexpensive car that it was in the early 90s. Maybe they could even revive the SE-R as a quality sport compact car.
