Opel has announced a new small car with an absolutely interminable comic. It has not told us much though, but the full details will be revealed soon.
Opel has nicknamed the new model Junior. It is 3.7m long three-door hatchback that seats four. Junior's real name will be revealed on May 8. Opel says the model has been engineered in Germany with "bags of attitude" to be "individual" and unique Opel design. It also says that there is an 'A' in the name. The car will go on sale in early 2013.
If it were not already on sale there, the Chevrolet Spark would fit all of these attributes perfectly with the exception of the Opel engineering. However, the Spark is already on sale in Germany. It is possible that Opel has developed its own version of the Spark, which is based on the Daewoo Matiz.
The comic is posted below, but read it at your own peril. The important information is in the paragraphs above.
