Opel launching new Astra in Frankfurt

Group CEO, Karl-Thomas Neumann who revealed that the new model will come with advanced 'design', maximum efficiency and many innovations.

Created from scratch, Neumann says that the highest priority when it came to the development of the new Astra generation was to create a more efficient vehicle in all areas.

The space is tapped efficiently with a body that will have reduced exterior dimensions by comparison with the current generation, cabin space will increase noticeably. The weight reduction achieved by Opel engineers will also be felt on the car's dynamic and fuel consumption reduction.

The latest generation of engines from Opel will be exclusively equipping the new Astra, which is an important point of the renewal strategy of the brand that started just over a year.
