into the 25th Alpine Rally for classic cars that runs through the Austrian states of Tyrol and Salzburg and ends in the town of Kitzbühel from May 31 to June 2.

Skoda built 14,863 Felicia Cabrio from 1959 to 1964. The cars used a 1,221cc four-cylinder engine with 55ps.

“The Felicia Cabrio is exactly the right car for this attractive classic car rally. The car was repaired in our shop and will surely be an eye-catcher against the Alpine panorama," said Eva Ticová, the head of the restoration shop at the ŠKODA AUTO Museum.

The Alpine Rally began in 1988 and runs 430km through Austria including over the Grossglockner mountain. The rally is open to classic cars built before 1976, and 300 cars are expected to take part in the Alpine Rally this year. Skoda took part in the rally for the first time last year when it entered a 1948 Tudor 1101.
