Renault is planning on borrowing the platform from the Nissan Juke for a future subcompact SUV. Styling for the Renault version is meant to be inspired by the Captur concept that it showed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
The Captur is a sub-compact SUV that bares a striking resemblance to the Juke already. The new model will take the spot of the Koleos in the Renault lineup. It could be on sale as soon as early next year. While the Captur was a coupe, it is more likely the production version will have four doors.
Engines will likely be shared with the Juke, as will the all-wheel drive system. That means a 1.5l diesel and 1.6l turbocharged, petrol engine.
